This episode deals with planning a day of driving. I focus on a couple of tools and some techniques in using them. The result should be a detailed driving route with great stops along the way. Everything you’ll need to have a wonderful drive!

These tools are particularly beneficial for off-the-beaten path road trips.

By this time I was planning in terms of an ongoing radio show. However, this way of thinking coincided with a nasty cold which affected my voice, my energy and my thinking too! Oh well, when an assignment is due then it’s got to be finished.

I did this show in my home studio, turned it in by email and it aired the next day.

I’ve been thrilled with my GPS toys so they’re easy to talk about. At this stage I was still thinking of this broadcast as practice, not the next show in a series. Though it is a bit early to introduce such a topic, Kelsey convinced me with her enthusiasm that we should do it and so I incorporated a prerecorded interview with her in my show. It was great to have her be a part of my broadcast!

In the second class our instructor threw us in the studio do a live show!

This was my first broadcast.

Mission Statement:
We will educate about the tools, techniques, planning and execution of themed travel, with an emphasis on frugality. This show is targeted at singles and couples who have the time and desire to realize their travel dreams. We will discuss translating dreams into goals, we'll talk about tools for planning trips and techniques to make travel more efficient, and we'll visit other topics that make travel fun. The less money we spend on travel, the more frequently we can travel so emphasis will be placed on doing things cheaply.
